Posting images
Hey guys, before i start, yes i did use the search button, and couldnt find what i was looking for. My question is, how do i post images directly into a post? I know how to add [IMG]xxxxx[/IMG] tags, but if i do that, itll look like this : .
It has the white background from when i cut out the image in paint. Does anyone know how to post the image clean, small, and withought the white background? Thanks, in adavance, as ive been looking for this for quite some time . |

Im not sure how you did it but it works when I do it with paint, well what you can try is getting a program called irfan view, thats great for if you want to get a certain part of a screen shot for posting.
Here the link: http://www.irfanview.com/ Last edited by corax5; Aug 12, 2005 at 11:49 PM // 23:49.. |

When I use the xx[IMG]xxx[/IMG]xxx command, here's what I get:
My guess is that the software you're using to crop the image doesn't generate a proper jpg header. Here's how I crop in MS-Paint: 1) take a screen shot witt Alt-Printscreen 2) Launch MS-Paint and hit Ctrl-V to paste the image 3) Using the selection tool, box the area of the screen shot you wish to keep (the rest will be cropped out), and hit Ctrl-C 4) Go to File->New 5) Go to Image->Attributes, and set both Width and Height to 1 6) Hit Ctrl-V 7) Save the file in the format you want (probably JPG) |
